This Saturday on the grounds of the Hombu Dojo of the Organization “Taiyou e no Michi” a seminar was held on the topic of Togakure ryu Shurikenjutsu.

The weather conditions were amazing for the practice of this kind of training, and the surroundings already familiar – in the only training center in Macedonia for classical Japanese martial arts.

In the event took part six members of Bujinkan Macedonia who under the watchful eye of the teacher Dovezenski learnt the techniques of throwing with the Bo and Senban shuriken from the school of Togakure ryu.

During the entire day, the members managed to “pass” all the techniques from the densho of this old ninja school.

Another event in which the members of Bujinkan Macedonia learnt and repeated the techniques of using the net (Toami) was held on the grounds of the Hombu Dojo of the Organization “Taiyou e no Michi”.

Notably, this is the first of three ninjutsu seminars planned for this month. As it always happens, the students of the teacher Igor Dovezenski always show great interest in all that is connected with the legendary Togakure warriors, and so we are expecting the Hombu dojo to be filled to capacity in October.

Already this week there is a seminar taking place on the topic of shuriken, kaginava, shuko, and other unconventional ninja techniques.

The tenth anniversary of the spiritual trip known as “Way of the Shugenja” wrote another page in the history of Bujinkan Macedonia. This time the actors were eight Warriors from the dojo who in 10 hours managed to walk a trail of 42 kilometers. This version offered the shortest and easiest route to date, which helped to make sure that all the participants reached the end.

“Let me extend my regards to senpai Filip Trajanovski, Irina Milosevska and Kristina Kostic which for the first time ever took part in this seminar and successfully completed it. I especially congratulate Kristina because she is just starting to learn the skills and Warriors of Bujinkan Macedonia, and she still powered through this tribulation.
What can be said about this legendary seminar, and to not start with amazement with the choices of Sensei Igor Dovezenski about the routes thorough which we cleanse ourselves, elevate ourselves and enjoy our beautiful Macedonia. Ten hours of non-stop walking through hills, villages, through untrodden places and pretty valleys, so rich and fertile, simply your soul fills with beauty” – Vladimir Antonovski, senpai.

“Because of work, the night before the seminar I could only sleep for four hours. Before starting from Hombu, I noticed that Sensei was walking weirdly, after which he explained to us that the previous day he had stepped on a rusty nail. After the required tetanus shots, the doctor told him that he should rest, but he probably does not know about the strength, spirit and courage of Sensei.
Same as every year, while we were walking through the hills and mountains, we got to know each other better, share wonderful moments and smiles, but at the same time learn about our own limits and weaknesses. I want to share something that happened that helped me to grow and even deeper belief in friendship, comradery and life in general. On a hill, in a steep place, Kiki stopped for a second and uttered that she could not climb it. But then Taki walked back and lend her a hand. Then it was shown, for I don’t know which time, that an honestly given hand motivates and stops failure. I remembered that once upon a time I felt like giving up on hills like that too” – Mihail Drakalski, senpai.

“- Sensei, for Shugendo I only need to bring 1,5L of water with me?
– No Irina, that is for ‘Survival in Nature’. Bring whatever you want, as long as you can carry it. We will be walking through mountainous areas with no breaks and we will visit interesting places that tell their own unique story. This time it will the shortest one yet.
Maybe because he told me so, I didn’t even consider if it will be hard, if I will finish it, what kind of feat I will achieve and what will I tell of it. I was just happy that Sensei had the trust and allowed me to follow him.  We had a light step like a happy little band that had just gone out for a walk on a nice sunny day, casting off any layer of unnecessary thoughts, misgivings about the present, plans and fears of the future. The magic spontaneously followed. Every rock, every point, a cross on the road, passed on a history of stories. And a message. And so on to the next village, to the next spring.
From the fairy waters in the village of Zubovce, to the church of Saint. Trojca in Skakovce. Whatever you might believe in, nothing is stronger than the beauty of the sunset, the graciousness of the mountain and the humbleness of the first star. And exactly its glow makes you aware of the transience of it all. You feel only gratitude for your compatriots with which you share this rare experience. The poetry of the spirit. And the feeling of cleansing, after this first Shugendo of mine. Thank you Sensei” – Irina Milosevska.

The members of the Organization “Taiyou e no Michi” took part in the fourth in a row manifestation of the “Health, Fitness & Wellness Expo”, which took place this weekend on the field of the FC Rabotnicki in the City Park in Skopje.

The warriors of the Dojo’s which constitute the Organization, demonstrated Bujutsu, Aikijujutsu and Ninjutsu techniques from the schools of Daito ryu, Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto ryu, Koto ryu and Gyoko ryu.

The audience which was present during the Emby, was amazed by the performance of our members and special attention drew the youngest from the group of the Ninja Kids which brought about the biggest applause. These next days we await the videos from the demonstration, and when we get them, we will immediately post them here.

Shidoshi ho Zoran Todorovski, sempai Vladimir Antonovski and senpai Taki Gakovski, were guests in the “Weekly Magazine” on the national Macedonian Television. In front of the varied auditorium, the three veterans of the dojo talked about the history and activities of our Organization “Taiyou e no Michi”.

The tenth and also jubilee of the “Summer Koryu/Ninja Camp” went very well and left another permanent mark in the memories of the Warriors from Bujinkan Macedonia.

The topics for this year were the samurai arts of Daito ryu Aikijujutsu and Kukishinden ryu Naginata, and the participants in the end were amazed by both the ancient schools which have been transferred for centuries from one generation to the other .

Of course, the strong dynamic was strengthened also with ninja techniques such as: Kajitsu, Metsubushi, Tetsubishi, Sui Ren, etc.

All nine days spent in family concord and unitary betterment will remain in our memories for the rest of our days.

At the end of the camp, the instructor Igor Dovezenski announced that topics for the next year will be the schools of Gyokko ryu Koshijutsu, as also some weapons from Togakure ryu Ninjutsu (Kusari Gama, Kyoketsu Shoge and Kusari Fundo).

The second kids “Summer Ninja Camp” went even better than the first, which is understandable, if you take into account the experience from last year which helped us bring the whole event to perfection.

The kids which took part in the camp, enjoyed it to that degree, that the smile never left their faces during the whole seven days.

The topic for this year was the art of Gyokko ryu Koshijutsu, and also the study of  techniques for handling a short sword (kodachi.

Of course, there were a lot of other activities through which the kids had the opportunity to learn new life skills, and of course fun was an ever present activity.

Next year we expect even more participants and even more activities which will elevate the quality of the kids “Summer Ninja Camp” to an even higher level.

Петото поглавје од оваа приказна не однесе на планина повисока од 1000 метри. Всушност, како место за одржување на овој настан беше избран врвот Перен (1326 нв) на планината Козјак.

На претходните четири настани, инструкторот Довезенски ги подучуваше своите ученици како можат подолг период да преживеат во група доколку се засолнат на планина пониска од 1000 метри, како и на организирано живеење покрај река, во шума и во предел каде што владеат пустински услови.

„Живот во Дивината V“, имаше задача да ги научи членовите на Буџинкан Македонија како да преживеат на високите планини кои во Македонија се распоредени на целата нејзина територија.

Семинарот се раководеше според сценарио на природна катастрофа или друга несреќа која бара повлекување на некое непристапно место и организирање живот на подолго време за одредена група на луѓе. Со совладувањето на новите вештини, членовите на доџо-то ќе бидат способни да го згрижат своето семејство и да му обезбедат основни услови за живеење во дивина во случај на опасност.

„Пешачењето кон врвот Перен траеше околу час ипол, при што ми покажа дека се уште сум слаб кондициски и дека морам да го поправам тоа понатаму. Во еден момент кога застанав, бидејќи почуствував нагон за повраќање поради напорот, кохаи Сања ми рече ‘Ајде не зезај, ова е ништо во споредба со Патот на Шугенџа каде што пешачиме и по 12 часа’. Овие зборови ме кренаа и едноставно не сакав повеќе да застанам. Кога стигнавме, Сенсеи ни одржа едно подолго предавање, а потоа започнавме со изградба на засолништето. На крајот, сето тоа беше перфектно направено и премногу удобно. Покрај сите работи кои ги научивме, вкусивме и јајца од мравјалници, што на мое изненадување имаа некаков чуден и благ вкус“. –  Филип Трајановски

Тоа е една бескрајност која никој и никогаш не ја открил до крај. Сите ние се раѓаме и заминуваме, а природата останува со сите нејзини мистерии и неоткриени нешта. Тоа што можеме да си го дозволиме, е колку-толку (по можност што повеќе) да се насладуваме од нејзината убавина, да чепнеме во тој огромен свет, да научиме како да се вклопиме во природата, како да ја почитуваме и да и се воодушевуваме. Таквите знаења, ќе ни се најдат многу во животот. Добро е што доџото постојано држи отворени врати за секој кој сака да загази или да се надгради и на ова поле, затоа што комплетноста на вистинскиот Воин е комбинација од вештините научени внатре во доџото и надвор во природата“. – Борис Аговски

This weekend in the Hombu dojo of the organization “Taiyou e no Michi” a seminar was held on the Topic of Gyokko ryu Koshijutsu, on which the participants had the opportunity to train in the basic techniques as also the katas of the first level – Jo Ryaku no Maki.

The event brought seven members of Bujinkan Macedonia which with great pleasure hardily trained the forms of this old ninjutsu school, sparing no energy even for a moment.

Of course, the free time was used to enjoyed the beautiful yard of the Hombu, but also for swimming in the nearby river, which is very capable of returning the vigor to the muscles after a hardy training session.

For this semester, only one more seminar is planed – “Life in the Wild” which will be held this coming weekend.
