From the philosophy of the Five Elements 五大 meaning GoDai in Japanese Buddhism, the fifth element Ku (Emptiness) is the one that connects all the previous ones (Earth, Water, Fire and Wind). Trough it the natural cycle of the earth is complete”.

During the testing, they successfully demonstrated the necessary techniques and skills that are necessary to receive the “black belt”, with which they entered the group of rare people that received the master degree from the teacher Igor Dovezenski.
We wish them success in their future studying and perfecting of the Japanese traditional martial arts and we wish that they stay on the Path for many years to come.
During the event, the teacher Igor Dovezenski trough lessons, and afterwards through randori (freestyle combat) put his students face to face with the reality of fighting with weapons.
During the seminar, the teacher Igor Dovezesnki taught his students how to shoot with a simple homemade bow, similar to those which were used by the Shinobi warriors and was know under the name Maruki Yumi, similar to Hankyu – a short bow made from bamboo.
