Report for 2012

Posted on Categories Home

These past years, the yearly reports for our organization were showing constant progress and development. This year, although generally was really successful, for the first time we can say that we are not one hundred percent satisfied with the results.

Lets start with the international seminars.

29122012182755mario.jpgWe organized and invited only one master world wide known to teach in our dojo. He was Mario De Mol from Belgium, highest rank in the organization Jinenkan. Although we are member to the organization Bujinkan, we are open and we have the desire to cooperate and exchange experience with all quality budoka who have the capacity and the knowledge.
Furthermore, Mario De Mol is a special story. He is a personal friend of the leader of Bujinkan Macedonia, shidoshi Igor Dovezenski, with whom a day does not pass without a contact and sharing of opinions on a specific subject. The technique of Mario is on a really high level, which is additional motivation in any time to invite this master to hold a seminar in our country.

Regarding the domestic seminars, in 2012 we organized and held in total 12. Six were outdoor seminars, while the other six were held in the dojo. Of those, on 11 was teaching shidoshi Dovezenski, while on one were teaching the assistants Marjan Proshev and Marko Opachikj. Shidoshi ho Proshev, together with kohai Maja Ilievska, held a lecture for the first graders in the Elementary School „Ljuben Lape“, with subject: Classical Japanese samurai and ninja schools. The kids voted their lecture as the best of the school year.

The greatest success of 2012 is the finish of29122012182810293298_404730226256433_159 the Hombu Dojo under Lipac and his opening. With hard work and a lot of effort and sacrifice, we finished it for a record 13 months. In the dojo we have additional intensive trainings almost every weekend.

The section of Daito ryu Aikibudo, which works under the protection of the European Daito Organization (European Daito Kai), has grown into a dojo equal to the other members. As you already know, in Taiyou e no Michi, besides the arts of Bujinkan, other schools are being nurtured too. Daito ryu Aikijujutsu and Ono ha Itto ryu Kenjutsu (Takeda den) are one of them and we are happy to be the only organization in South-eastern Europe where this Japanese classical arts can be learned.

The internal subject in Bujinkan Macedonia was Shinden Fudo ryu Taijutsu. We „passed“ all katas from all levels and we really enjoyed in the techniques of this school.
In 2013, we will focus on Gjokko ryu Koshijutsu, as well as on Jutte and Tessen Jutsu.

In august, we held our far famous Summer Ninja Camp, with 22 participants from our country and abroad. The time spent on the camp stays forever engraved in the memories, and the knowledge gotten there is priceless.

The public interest remains huge for our work, but we furthermore decline all the invites for participation in the media. We prove our quality in the dojo and we have no need for public exhibition.
29122012182828shibu.jpgAt the end of the year, Bujinkan Macedonia prepared for work another dojo in Skopje. It is located in the premises of „Rudarski Institut“ in the municipality Aerodrom, and the first training is set for 4th of January (2013). The dojo is arranged and meet any standard and the conditions in it are really great.

In the section in Taftalidze there are currently practicing fifteen students. From now on, responsible for the work of this branch will be sempai Anton Perchinkov (1st kyu).

The section in Gradsko, unfortunately, had to be closed. The reason behind it, is that our student, who managed this section, was called to work in the special police units of MIA. We wish him happiness and success in the job.

On the yesterdays` testing for student kyu`s, our members showed tremendous progress. From the advance group, Anton Perchinkov got 1st kyu, and Miron Cali got 2nd kyu. In the main dojo of Bujinkan Macedonia participate approximately 30 students.

Then, where did we disappoint?

This year we „lost“ some of the older students. Some of the left for personal reasons, and some were exhausted of the many years hard training. With all of them we have continual contact and we nurture the friendship. We wish for them to gather strength and to continue the trainings in the dojo, and the door for them will be always open. Exactly this loss we count as a bad score and unrealized purpose. When you invest effort for years to raise the level of the student in every possible way, it is not all the same when you hear that he is leaving.
But, that is a part of life. One are leaving, others are coming, and those who are staying share every moment of the Path.

Ikkan!

Posted on Categories Home

19122012053428Rudarski.jpgThe school of classical Japanese martial arts Bujinkan Macedonia, opened another dojo in one of the Skopje municipalities, Aerodrom. A few sections are going to be working there, and the first training is on 03.01.2013.

In the new dojo, for the first time a special group will be opened only for children from 6 to 12 years of age. We believe that the kids are the greatest treasure of our country and and the healthy youth will bring prosperity to the future generations of our people.

Along with this one, sections for Shinobi Taiso (techniques for strengthening the body) are going to work too, as well as sections for adults where classical Japanese samurai and ninja arts will be trained.

The dojo is located in the premises of „Rudarski Institut“ (next to `Vero`) and all requirements for keeping trainings are met, as to the weekend workshops to particular subjects.

Before you decide to become our members, please read some facts, and think if Bujinkan Macedonia is the right place for You.

Our dojo (school) is founded in 1995 by shidoshi (teacher) Igor Dovezenski, the only acknowledged instructor here by the international organization Bujinkan Dojo and its soke (chief) Masaaki Hatsumi. Shidoshi Dovezenski had taken test for godan (5th dan) in front of 20 shihans (master from the highest rank) and is the first and only Macedonian in the world who carries this high acknowledgement. He has menkyo (license) that allows him to manage the only dojo for classical samurai and ninja arts in Macedonia.

Bujinkan Macedonia is one of the greatest and most dynamical Bujinkan clubs in the whole world. We agree that the quality is more important than quantity, but also assured that the quality inevitable brings quantity. The full dojo is just a confirmation for the great knowledge and the progress that is acquired here.

If you are ready for a change, start the new 2013 with a training of classical Japanese samurai and ninja arts. All interested have to inform their presence by e-mail or the phones: 071 277 457 or 077 976 906.

Daito Ryu "study group" grows into a dojo

Posted on Categories Home

11122012163342ukjh.jpgDuring yesterday`s conversation with shihan Antonino Cherta, we were officially informed that our study group becomes a dojo. Sensei Cherta, our teacher for Daito ryu Aikijujutsu and Ono ha Itto ryu Kenjutsu (Takeda den), on this way rewarded our determination and readiness to train and nurture the art, same as he himself trained at Tokimune Takeda.
This happens after the three year membership in his organization as an associate, respectively the three year test for our will power and determination. Daito ryu Macedonia – Koryu Dojo, from this day forward is an equal member with the other dojos in the organization European Daito Kai.
http://www.daito-ryu.com/association.html

What is interesting, because of his humbleness, today few people know sensei Cherta, although he is one of the greatest masters for traditional Japanese martial arts in Europe. In 1991, as a master for Aikido, he leaves for Japan and directly makes for the Hombu dojo in the city Abashiri, where he becomes a personal student of Tokimune Takeda (36th soke of Daito ryu). Sensei Cherta is the first non-Japanese who was accepted for a personal student of Tokimune, but also the first and only non-Japanese who earned the title shihan (master teacher). After the death of Tokimune Takeda, Antonino Cherta keeps training as a personal student of one of the greatest masters in Abashiri: the shihans Kato, Sano and Arisawa.
After the suggestion of soshi Kato Shigemitsu, sensei Cherta in 2006 founds the organization European Daito Kai, with purpose to nurture and transfer the knowledge of Tokimune Takeda to Europe.

Sensei Cherta devoted all his life to the Japanese martial arts, and is author of the book: „Daito-ryu Aikibudo, History and techique“

At the end, we thank to sensei Cherta for the shown honor, and we are going to continue with the hard work further on so we can justify his trust.

Jissen Heiho® seminar held

Posted on Categories Home

121120120742422.jpgInstructor Igor Dovezenski this weekend promoted the system Jissen Heiho (Real combat strategies), which attracted great interest from the members of Bujinkan Macedonia.
The two-day training was located in the Hombu Dojo of the organization Taiyou e no Michi, with participation of ten students.

Instead of a report for the event, we are going to write down some of the impressions of the participants, which were published in the formal Forum of Taiyou e no Michi.

„The spot that was missing is exactly Jissen Heiho. At least I felt that way, after what I saw and heard.
From valid reasons I was the only one who didn’t train, but believe me I enjoyed, even though I felt like crying, sitting next to the fireplace.
The kamae has a combat, aggressive stance. The trainings were hard, dynamic, good for the eye, and even 121120120743024.jpgfor the body. The students `slapped` each other nicely, they didn’t give up until the last moment, sacrificed themselves and pushed their maximum. They were happy and content, even though they had bruises everywhere. Their condition increased even more, because Jissen Heiho is like that – dynamic, fast, aggressive. Regarding the content, every strike and technique, Sensei explained it in detail. What was the reason to `insert` it, where it comes from and when it`s used. Everything has a reason. Nothing is done by accident or by memorization. That helped a lot to the students to better understand Jissen Heiho. I asked Sensei whether he planned to `insert` this to the trainings in Skopje? He answered: „NO, this is only for those who want more, who want to better themselves on this field. I am instructor for koryu, and it shall remain like that. This is only enrichment.“
I recommend Jissen Heiho, it will complete you as a fighter. In every way.“ – Marko O.

„Jissen Heiho is fun to the `bones`! Those five minutes of randori feel like an eternity and exhaust you as physically and mentally as one training in the dojo, but the feeling afterwards is FANTASTIC!
Two days with great company, a lot of `fighting` and laughter, far from the city and the problems. From the head, to the legs, I think there is no part of my body that is not aching, but the feeling is great.“ – Miron C.121120120742563.jpg

„It is good that my fingers don’t hurt, so I can type on the keyboard, after the seminar Jissen Heiho!
This is my first seminar in the Hombu Dojo and I have many impressions.
The technique that Sensei has `put together` is a lot different from what we train on the regular trainings. Even though the strikes are contained in koryu, the stances, the dynamics and the condition that is requires is something new.
We acquainted ourselves with part of the basics of Jissen Heiho and I think that it will get even more fun afterwards, but I’m not so sure about that, we haven’t even tried a real sparring yet :).
Fantastic training and weekend too with fantastic fighters.“ – Vlado A.

After the finish of the two-day training, by request of the students, it was arranged every second weekend in the month to be reserved for Jissen Heiho.
