Shidoshi ho Marko Opacik – one of the most loyal and most committed students of the teacher Igor Dovezesnki, successfully passed the test for the 3 DAN, with which Bujinkan Macedonia became richer by another master with a high title.

After 13 years of training in the dojo, over 150 seminars at home and abroad, of which 56 intensive in the Hombu Dojo, Marko Opacik became the new and for now the only member with a masters degree of SANDAN.

We would like to congratulate him on his success and we hope that his example will be a guiding one for the next generations on how to love and respect the dojo that has shown you the true Way.

On one of the mountain sides of Plackovica, in the hearth of the Kozjacka valley that is split by the river of the same name, this weekend the third in a row “10.000 B.C.” was held.
On totally unknown terrain, the Warriors of Bujinkan Macedonia learnt the techniques of survival with minimal equipment, imitating the life that took place in these parts 10.000 years before Christ.

After the end of the seminar, part of the participants shared their impressions:

“I don’t know how many seminars in nature have been held till now in Bujinkan Macedonia, but I do know that the number is quite large. I am happy that I have participated in many of them and I can say that every seminar has had its own specific beauty. The seminars are not made by the locations that we visit, even if they are beautiful, colorful and magical. The seminars are made by the members of Bujinkan Macedonia, together with our Sensei. I know if I visit the same locations with my friends, acquaintances or total strangers, I will not experience what I am feeling when I am with the people from our dojo. Sensei has said that Bujinkan Macedonia has always attracted the “strange individuals” that in a “normal” environment would differ from all the rest. Exactly that what makes us “weird” creates the magic when we are together. During the seminars in nature we learn from nature itself which can be so whimsical, and at the same time boundlessly cruel and merciless. Right here we face these two faces, and which one will triumph in the end depends on us” – sempai Vladimir Antovski.

“Bujinkan Macedonia is a big book of warrior’s tales, where each page differs from the previous.
The first year we were at the unforgettable Cocev Kamen, then we stayed under the waterfalls of Dlabocica, a now in the canyon of the river Kozjacka.
We traveled though the mosaic of stones in the clear river. As we climbed higher, the sound of the waterfalls was so loud that we almost couldn’t hear one-another. After we chose the place where we shall rest and readied our nest, Sensei gave out task for everyone, and so in short order we secured food. We had a good catch of fish, some frogs, wild apricots and ant eggs.
In parts of the river, nature has carved out tubs like a ‘jacuzzi’ in which when you sit, your head is hit by the water that falls from the rocks.
I remember when a few years ago Sensei announced the first of these seminars, I asked him what will be taught, and he answered me ‘we shall learn about life’. Slowly I am starting to understand what Sensei said that time.
In Sunday, the morning I greeted while on guard with Kosara and Ksenija, who I already count as my younger martial sisters. I would like to mention the ritual of Misogi which Sensei demonstrated for us. The feeling was amazing. For a moment I felt empty, but that sadly did not last long.
In the end, I want to congratulate Ksenija. This was her first two day seminar and for a child of 11 years she gave a fantastic performance. She worked constantly and industriously, she did not show weakness and held on for the entire seminar. And of course, I would like to thank Sase for his great hospitality in his home after we finished with the seminar. As always, the last thanks I give to Sensei, who selflessly shared all his knowledge and takes care of us guiding us on the true Way” – sempai Taki Gakovski.

“What a seminar! This year ’10.000 years b.c’ was held for the third time and we can without a doubt say this event slowly, but surely, is turning into a traditional one. With every passed seminar, I feel like the emotions and the values that I have gathered are molding into my soul. I am happy that I have lived though this magical story for the third time. Thanks to this event, I managed to judge if the things that Sensei though us I have understood well and if I have become a better person. Definitely this kind of seminar in nature will give you an answer to many questions, and you will find out what your weak points are and where you should better yourself. With great excitement, I can barely wait for next year so I can again live through the next ’10.000 B.C’

At the same time I would like to say that I am very proud of my compatriots. They are these wonderful souls, first of all Warriors, with incredible hearts! I thank you all that with your contribution helped to write another great story that will be part of our life. We wrote another incredible fable that will be part of our lives. We wrote another unique story, we left another legend which we will remember till the end of our lives. The June Shiken meaning testing for the student degrees was held yesterday in the Skopje dojo of Bujinkan Macedonia.

In a official atmosphere as is suitable for a event of this scale, these students earned a higher degree:

Yesterday in the yard of the Hombu Dojo of the Organization for the study of classical Japanese martial arts – Taiyou e no Michi, was held a seminar dedicated to the martial techniques with the great samurai war hammer (Otsuchi).

It is interesting, that this unusual and sadly a bit forgotten weapon is practiced as part of the Japanese classical school of Shinden Fudo ryu Dakentaijutsu. The teacher Igor Dovezenski thinks that the members of the dojo already have the necessary training and experience to start a new chapter in the study and exploration of the techniques of the great samurai war hammer.

The next adventure for the Warriors of Bujinkan Macedonia will be held in two weeks, during which the canyon of Stip’s Bregalnica will be visited, as part of the seminar 10.000 years B.C.

One week after the presentation and lecture held in the Youth Culture Center in Skopje, the teacher of Bujinkan Macedonia, Igor Dovezenski, held another, this time in the Center for culture “ASNOM” in Gostivar.

As a reminder, Dovezenski was hired by the production house “Cutaway” as a technical consultant and lecturer for the needs for the promotion of the Danish full length animated movie – “The Checkered Ninja”

During the lecture in Gostivar, were present around ten kids who together with their parents carefully watched the lecture about the history, tradition and specifics of the classical Japanese martial arts.

After the end of the event, Dovezesnki thanked his students Marco Opacik, Vladimir Antonovski, Mihail Drakalski and Taki Gakovski for the help that they selflessly lend to any kind of activity connected with the dojo “Taiyou e no Michi”

On invite by the council of the City of Skopje and the Public enterprise “Parks and greenery” , the members of the Organization “Taiyou e no Michi” yesterday held a demonstration of their skills in the City Park of the capital city of the Republic of Macedonia.

In the demonstration took part the smallest of warriors from the “Ninja Kids”, afterwards the veterans from Bujinkan Macedonia, and also the members of Katori Shinto ryu Macedonia.

At the presentation end, the team from Shinobi Taiso held a free class for Japanese yoga (junan taiso), during which a big chunk of citizens with pleasure joined in the exercises.

After the end of the event, our dojo was given a appreciation certificate and also an invite for another demonstration for the “Flower Festival” that will take place again next year.

The Teacher of Bujinkan Macedonia, Igor Dovezenski, was hired by the production house “Cutaway” for the promotion of the Danish full-length animated film – “The Checkered Ninja”.

For that occasion, Dovezenski together with his trusted students, in the Youth Culture Center in Skopje held a demonstration and a class on the topic of: “How to become a Ninja” , and at the same time took part in the filming of the trailer that will air before the projection of “The Checkered Ninja” in the Republic of Macedonia.
During the class there will be present around 30 kids and parents, which showed great interest in the workings of the Organization “Taiyou e no Michi”.

Next weekend, Dovezesnki together with the members of Bujinkan Macedonia will hold another demonstration and class, this time in Gostivar.

During the Easter holidays, the instructors Igor Dovezenski and Pino Durante held an amazing seminar in the Hombu Dojo of Bujinkan Macedonia.

During the event present were around twenty members of the organization “Taiyou e no Michi” which were highly satisfied by the seminar and the incredible atmosphere which permeated the event.

The topic of the seminar was the samurai school of Takagi Yoshin ryu Jutaijutsu, during which Dovezenski taught the kata from the first level (shoden omote and ura gata), while Durante showed the henka (variants) of the principle Muto Dori which are practiced in the Hombu Dojo of the Bujinkan Dojo.

It’s interesting that the dai-shihan Pino Durante is born and lives in Germany, where in the city of Limburg he has his own dojo. In the year 2008 he, for the first time, visited Macedonia as a participant in the seminar with the dai-shihan Steffen Frohlich, organized by Igor Dovezenski. Since then, till this day, the German and Macedonian instructors have nurtured their friendship, training and socializing during different seminars in Europe, and in the Hombu Dojo of soke Masaaki Hatsumi.

Awed by the quality of training in Bujinkan Macedonia, but also by the beauty of our country, our people and all the other things about our country, the instructor Pino Durante will surely become a more frequent sight in our dojo.

At the end of the seminar, the dai-shihan Pino Durante invited the teacher Igor Dovezenski to hold a seminar in his dojo in Limburg.

Bujinkan Macedonia since yesterday has two new masters meaning Yudansha (carriers of a master title). After nearly ten years of training and perfecting as part of our dojo, sempai Vladimir Antovski and sempai Mihail Drakalski deservedly were awarded the rank of Shodan (first Dan).

During the testing, they successfully demonstrated the necessary techniques and skills that are necessary to receive the “black belt”, with which they entered the group of rare people that received the master degree from the teacher Igor Dovezenski.

During the event that was held in the Hombu Dojo of the Organization “Taiyou e no Michi” were present the compatriots, but also the friends and family of Antovski and Drakalski. We wish them success in their future studying and perfecting of the Japanese traditional martial arts and we wish that they stay on the Path for many years to come.
