Во саботата, во дворот на Хомбу Доџото на Буџинкан Македонија, се одржа традиционалниот семинар посветен на изучувањето на КјокетсуШоге – необично и специфично оружје од школата Тогакуре рју Нинџутсу.

За време на семинарот, учесниците имаа можност да се запознаат со техниките и принципите на употреба на ова оружје, кое зазема посебно место во богатото наследство на древната нинџа традиција.

Посебен белег на семинарот му даде прекрасната есенска идила во дворот на Хомбу. Жолтите лисја паѓаа од многубројните дрвја, создавајќи живописен амбиент, додека нивното крцкање под нозете на вежбачите ја надополнуваше атмосферата на овој несекојдневен тренинг.

Вечерта продолжи во Хомбу Доџото, каде што учителот Игор Довезенски одржа предавање на тема Чорјаку/Борјаку (Воена стратегија и тактика). Собрани околу топлиот камин, учениците со внимание ги следеа неговите предавања и имаа можност да навлезат подлабоко во принципите и значењето на оваа тема.

Уште еден прекрасен ден во Хомбу, исполнет со тренинг, нови сознанија, есенски убавини и дружење. Ден што уште еднаш потврди дека патот на традиционалното Будо не се состои само од изучување техники, туку и од заедништво, почит и постојано продлабочување на знаењето.

One day after the Shuriken seminar, during this previous Sunday, the teacher Igor Dovezenski held the regularly scheduled seminar dedicated to the weapon called Chigiriki from the school of Togakure ryu. 

The students had the opportunity to train in and further improve the techniques from the ancient ninjutsu art of the Chigirki.

During the training sessions, the students work on the skills needed to wield this weapon, dedicating particular care to the proper body movements, distance control and the fluidity of their technique. The older members of the dojo showed their selflessness again by helping the younger students better understand and practice the techniques being thought.  

The fine weather and calm atmosphere at the Hombu Dojo served to make this seminar a wonderful experience for all involved, filled with lots of training, friendships and a sharing of experiences.

This past Saturday, in the yard of the Hombu Dojo of Bujinkan Macedonia, a seminar was held dedicated to the study of Togakure ryu Shurikenjutsu.

During the seminar there were around fifteen participants, all of which had the opportunity to learn and perfect the myriad techniques of throwing shuriken that are characteristic of this ancient ninjutsu school. 

The combination of the pleasant atmosphere and the dedication of the students, made the seminar go by in a flurry of repetitions, perfecting and overcoming the techniques of throwing metal blades and spikes as taught in the school of Togakure ryu.

And, as always, after the training was over there was the time dedicated to hanging around the Homby, with the traditional nighttime cinema closing off the day. 

Another beautiful seminar, filled with training, friends and new experiences.

Another of our legendary Summer Ninja Camp’s has concluded, organised to perfection by the most dynamic Dojo in the world – Bujinkan Macedonia. 

Again, for the 18th day in a row, the teacher Igor Dovezenski gathered all the true lovers of the Japanese traditional martial arts, continuing the tradition of transferring his knowledge, experience and secrets of the ancient ninja schools. 

The camp managed to replicate its success in attracting a lot of participants, and besides the Macedonians, there was a guest from Turkey, with whom the event kept its international significance. 

The training sessions were tough, dynamic and field with challenge, while the atmosphere, as always, was magnificent. The nine days were spent in the spirit of intensive training, friendship and the creation of life-long memories. 

Although the 18th Summer Ninja Camp just ended, there are already people pining to know more about the next one. The opportunity to reserve your spot on the next one opens up at New Year’s Eve, and so get ready to take part in another ninja adventure.

The Homby Dojo of Bujinkan Macedonia had the pleasure of hosting the jubileary 10th in a row Kids Summer Ninja Camp, which is traditionally held every year between the 27th of July and the 2nd of August.

In the event, besides the kids from Macedonia, took part some young ninjas from Italy, France and China (Hong Kong), with which this jubileary camp held on to its international significance. 

This tenth iteration was special to us because it represents an entire decade filled with friendship, training, fun and new ninja experiences for our youngest members. During the seven days of the event, the kids had the opportunity to perfect their abilities, meet new people and create some new unforgettable memories. 

This year too people showed a lot of interest in our camp, which served to again confirm that our Kids Summer Ninja Camp has grown into a regular and well known event, not only at home but also abroad. 

We would like to extend our thanks to all of the participants and to their parents which gave us their full trust and support, and to our young ninjas we would like to extend our wish that they have many more successful adventures and do a lot more training so that they can be ready for the next, eleventh in row, Kids Summer Ninja Camp.

This past Sunday, one day after the Naginata seminar, at the yard of the Hombu Dojo of Bujinkan Macedonia there was a seminar for the study of Kenjutsu – a traditional Japanese sword fighting art.

Under the leadership of the teacher Igor Dovezenski, the participants had the opportunity to train in the techniques of quickly drawing a sword, and how to master the basic techniques of movement and combat with this weapon. As is the case, his experience gathered through the years and his teaching ability managed to ensure that every student present left the seminar filled with new knowledge and expanded abilities.

Besides the intensive training sessions, there is always time set aside for the socialising that is characteristic of these seminars. During the breaks, in the shade of the centennial walnuts in the yard of the Homby Dojo, the participants had the pleasure of sharing a coffee and converse about their takeaways from the training sessions surrounded by a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. 

Another successful seminar that further confirms that real the Budo lies not just in a good technique, but in the comradeship, respect and real friendships that are created every time we train together.

This past Saturday, in the yard of the Hombu Dojo of Bujinkan Macedonia, we held our regular seminar for the study of the art of the Naginata – a traditional Japanese weapon that has been used for centuries as an integral part of the samurai martial traditions. 

During the seminar we worked through the bodily stances, basic principles of movement, distance management, and several kata’s together with their practical application. After several hours of training, the participants had the opportunity to further enhance their knowledge of the techniques and quirks of this weapon.

When all the training was done, the participants had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful zen garden that is part of the Hombu Dojo. The pleasant atmosphere was further enhanced by the people, conversions and board games that took place upon our new wooden platform, under the shade of our growing trees, where everybody seemed to be talking about and sharing experiences from the training sessions they just had.

This seminar confirmed to us what we already knew, that besides the vast amounts of knowledge and skills that are gathered by participating in them, these kinds of gatherings allow us to build upon the friendships and values that make up the soul of traditional Japanese Budo.

This evening we held our 62nd student grades testing session at the Dojo for traditional Japanese ninja and samurai martial arts – Bujinkan Macedonia. 

For 31 years we have been doing more than just continuing an art – we have been creating individuals. We educate across generations, we build strong characters and we support all those in need, we nurture friendships and create a place where people, regardless of their age, feel like they belong. 

Behind every successful test stand years of dedication, work, endurance and community. Behind every student stands a story of growth.

This past weekend, at the Homby dojo of Bujinkan Macedonia in Dovezence a seminar was held dedicated to the study and understanding of the techniques and principles of Toami. 

During the course of the event, several key elements such as movement, distance management, timing and smooth technique chaining were studied. The participants had the opportunity to explore the techniques of net throwing, the forms of the art and to work on improving their sense of balance and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. 

During the breaks we used our free time to bask in the beauty of the Japanese zen garden, where besides the coffee and the pleasant conversation that goes with it, we were able to share some of our experiences and thoughts about the training sessions in a relaxing atmosphere.
