Posted on Categories Home

During the last training before the start of the Corona pandemic in March of 2020, sempai Vladimir Antovski gained the accolade of “Genin”, at that time we didn’t even manage to write a report about his accomplishment, because we were overtaken by the developing situation and we were forced to close the doors of our Dojo. But now, we are calm and collected and with the utmost pleasure we would like to inform You that sempai Blagica Bozinovska is the fourth member of Bujinkan Macedonia that has gained the accolade of “Genin”. Also, for your information, the bronze medal “Genin” is awarded after ten years of dedicated and consistent training at “Taiyou e no Michi”, as an acknowledgment for dedication and loyalty shown towards the Dojo, the other students and the teacher. To the new “Genin” we wish many more long years as a member of “Taiyou e no Michi” and to bravely walk the Way, all the way to the golden “Jonin” medal.

And that is not all! We began training in a wholly new and renovated space, which will allow us greater levels of comfort and a better quality of training.

At the same time we would like to notify the public that at the moment we are able of accepting only five new members, because of this, if you are interested in beginning a novel and magical journey into the world of the Japanese samurai and ninja – We are expecting you.

Ways of Winter Survival XI

Posted on Categories Home

Non-stop rain paired with low temperatures didn’t create even the slightest need to postpone our traditional seminar for the study of winter survival techniques. After five years of gathering knowledge about survival in forest terrain, and then five years of perfecting our knowledge of survival methods in hilly areas, this year we began a new challenging chapter in our study of these techniques – survival in rocky valley terrain. With this goal in mind, we chose Smkneno, a place at the start of hills that are a part of the mountain of Lipac.

Soaking wet and freezing from the continuous rain, we successfully refreshed and realized the five primary rules for survival in winter conditions. Although for many it would be impossible, we with great ease and in a primitive manner managed to light a fire and warm ourselves around it.

Because of the (purposefully chosen) harsh terrain, this year we presented a way to build a simple and primitive hideout, called a lair.
We were overjoyed to conclude that the students were capable of adapting to any kind of terrain with growing ease. We also must commend the children of the instructor Igor Dovezenski which in a truly heroic manner, without any second thoughts weathered the low temperatures. They regularly visit nearly all seminars in nature, that are under the umbrella of Bujinkan Macedonia.

This was the first seminar for this year, and we would like to believe that everything will soon be back to normal and that we will quickly return to our work with even greater gusto.
