Sponsored by the Japanese international cooperation agency – JICA, as also the Japanese embassy in Macedonia, and by request of the organization MAK-JAMS from Skopje, the Dojo for classical Japanese martial arts “Taiyou e no Michi” organized a presentation (Embu) of Bujutsu, Aikijujutsu and Ninjutsu (arts).
The event took place the day before yesterday at the Institute for ethnology and anthropology at PMF – Skopje, in attendance of around thirty guests, among which was the Japanese consul for Macedonia, his Excellency Toyokazu Kubota accompanied by his wonderful wife. At the demonstration were present the leader of the dojo Igor Dovezenski, as also the members Marko Opacik, Zoran Todorovski, Vadimir Antonovski. Blagica Bozinovska, Taki Gakovski and Sanja Simonova. They presented in front of those present the Japanese classical martial arts meaning the schools which are tough at “Taiyou e no Michi” -Tenshin Shoden Katori Shinto ryu Bujutsu, Daito ryu Aikijujutsu, Gyokko ryu Koshijutsu and Koto ryu Koppojutsu.
At the end, during the modest cocktail, the consul Kubota in conversation with Dovezenski said that until now he has never been as impressed by a Bujutsu demonstration, especially noticing how he felt a collision of energies from the participants in the demonstration that reminded him of “Japanese warrior-monks” from the medieval period.
